Ninety worked with Allied World to develop a new proposition for market using the 123 Framework methodology. They assembled a diverse team to bring the right capabilities together, and were looking for an opportunity to unite the team on an approach and set of mindsets which would then be common and be deployed throughout the project. Recognising the different technical skills that the team brought to the project, they were keen to ensure these were effectively deployed and that there was a frame of reference that the entire team could get behind to achieve results.

Solution

Ninety deployed the Mindsets Inspirer keynote in order to inspire the team to innovate and develop the optimal proposition. They shared on key mindsets for innovation and the practical application of them so that they could be used throughout the project by all members. The team also had the opportunity to develop a mindsets charter which they created during the workshop and to which all team members were able to contribute. This was then owned and championed by the project team and could be referenced during the project..

Benefits

The project team benefitted from aligning on a common approach and set of mindsets. They were able to understand how these mindsets could be used in the appropriate way at different parts of the innovation journey and were able to then put this straight into practice. Techniques including active listening - to customers and colleagues, creative stimuli and Ninety’s customer toolbox supported the project team in the successful development of their proposition.

Ninety partnered with Allied World to develop a new proposition. Prior to this project starting, the project team and sponsors were brought together to align on innovation mindsets through the Academy’s Mindsets Inspirer. This ensured that the team had the opportunity to come together and focus on innovation and its role in a successful project delivery. The team then successfully executed on the proposition which is now developed for market.
